Why Gold and Silver Still Matter and What I Really Think About the Future
Robert Kiyosaki made headlines this week with his new gold and silver price predictions. He’s calling for gold at $30,000 and silver at $3,000 by 2035. That’s a bold forecast, even for someone like Kiyosaki, who’s been consistently bullish on precious metals for decades.
I’m not nearly that aggressive.
Here’s what I think:
- I believe gold will reach around $10,000 per ounce by 2035.
- I believe silver will reach around $1,000 per ounce.
That may not be as sensational as Kiyosaki’s call — but it’s still a major move from today’s prices.
And unlike a lot of people chasing the current rally, I’m not speculating.
I’m hedging. I’m building sovereignty.
Gold and silver are not investments to me. They are insurance policies.

They serve two crucial roles in your financial life:
Inflation Hedge – A counterweight against the inevitable decay of purchasing power over time.
Last-Resort Currency – If the traditional banking system falters, physical metals are a universally recognized store of value.
And let me be clear:
When I talk about your "portfolio," I’m not just talking about your 401k, brokerage account, or your home equity. I'm talking about your entire financial life — everything you own, everything you control — is your portfolio.
Gold and silver deserve a place in that structure.
Not as a speculation. Not as a bet. As a foundation.
And if you’re really thinking it through:
In a total collapse scenario, scrap silver — small, lower-value silver coins and rounds — would be far more practical than trying to barter with a $10,000 gold coin.
Same with supplies. Same with self-protection.
Guns and ammo are part of the plan.
Not because I’m an "end of the world" prepper.
Because I intend to survive — and thrive — on my terms, no matter what happens, without waiting for the cavalry to arrive.
Think about the story of Joseph in Egypt.
Joseph didn’t wait until famine hit to start planning.
He acted when times were good — stockpiling grain during seven years of abundance, knowing full well that seven brutal years would follow.
And when the famine came? Egypt wasn’t scrambling. They were sovereign.
The rest of the world came begging for food.
First, they gave their silver.
When they ran out of money, they sold their livestock.
When they ran out of livestock, they sold their land.
And when they ran out of land, they sold themselves into servitude just to survive.
"So Joseph bought all the land in Egypt for Pharaoh. The Egyptians, one and all, sold their fields, because the famine was too severe for them. The land became Pharaoh’s, and Joseph reduced the people to servitude..." (Genesis 47:20-21)

Here’s the brutal truth:
When hard times hit, if you don’t have reserves — whether it's food, money, gold, silver, skills, or tools — you lose your freedom.
You end up selling yourself just to survive.
You become dependent. You become controlled.
Joseph wasn’t hoarding because he was afraid.
He was preparing so that he could preserve life — and do it without losing everything in the process.
That’s what real preparation is about.
It’s not about fear.
It’s about sovereignty.
It’s about having the strength and independence to weather any storm without being forced into desperation.
Today, the "seven fat years" may be ending.
Inflation is rising. The dollar is weakening. Debt is exploding.
If you want to be ready, you must act now.
Own some gold.
Own some silver.
Own some practical resources and protection.
Because when the famine comes — and it always comes — you want to be standing tall... not selling yourself just to survive.
If you haven't started building your reserves, now is the time.
Start small if you have to, but start. Gold. Silver. Scrap metals. Skills. Supplies. Protection. These aren't luxuries — they are necessities for anyone serious about surviving and thriving on their own terms. You don't need to panic. You need to prepare. Be Joseph, not the desperate masses.
Position yourself now so that when the famine comes, you aren't selling your future just to survive — you're standing ready, strong, and sovereign.
