With the “commission free” trading revolution, almost all top rated brokers cost next to nothing to open an account and next to nothing to trade options.

I use TD Ameritrade primarily. In the beginning I used Robinhood to build up my account. I haven’t traded in Robinhood in quite some time.

My TD account is a cash account and I keep at least a $5,000 balance.

I’ve used TradeZero, Fidelity, Schwab and TastyTrade. I have nothing good to say about any of these brokers, nor their platforms.

I am experimenting with new trading platforms and that will be covered in the next video about trading platforms. Keep in mind you don’t have to use your brokers platform to trade options.

My experience with TD Ameritrade has been awesome. The chat support pre-market is quick and conscientious. I also use TD as one of my banking accounts and chat support is an all encompassing with all aspects of your account. Seamless and efficient is what I love about TD Ameritrade.

The only issue ThinkorSwim has on the rarest of occasions is the data transfer will get gummed up and it may seem the platform is frozen but it’s not. This is why I have 2 iPads and 2 iPhones ready as backup!
